BEECH PURPLE, FAGUS SYLVATICA PURPUREA

BEECH PURPLE, FAGUS SYLVATICA PURPUREA

As far as I can remember, I have been fascinated by this majestic tree planted by my ancestors. Like a sage, he found his ideal place. Well rooted, it follows the movement of the seasons, connecting heaven and earth. In winter, he is naked. But soon, on the bright day, new tender green buds develop and dress the tree with leaves of extraordinary copper.

Then the Indian summer arrives and his coat turns into a bewitching purple crown. I love this strong and precious being like Yggdrasil so much!
